CHENNAI, July 4th, 2023: IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation will be collaborating with Diamondpick to train fresh engineers in technologies forecasted by Diamondpick. Diamondpick will also help to identify employment opportunities for these freshers in leading IT organizations.
The MoU was signed recently in the presence of Professor V Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, Lakshmi Narayanan, Chairman, Governing Council, Digital Skills Academy, IIT Madras, Professor Mangala Sunder Krishnan, Founder and Mentor, Digital Skills Academy, IIT Madras, Dr MJ Shankar Raman, CEO, IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, Balamurali Shankar, General Manager, Digital Skills Academy, IIT Madras and Sriram Rajagopal, Founder and Director, Diamondpick along with Satish Jeyaraman, CEO, Diamondpick and Santhosh Srinivasan, CFO, Diamondpick.
IITM Pravartak Technologies is a Section 8 Company housing the Technology Innovation Hub on Sensors, Networking, Actuators, and Control Systems. It is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, under its National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems, and hosted by IIT Madras.

In this hire-train-deploy model, the hiring of freshers will be done by Diamondpick. Freshers will subsequently be trained in leading technologies forecasted by Diamondpick for 4 to 6 months, depending on the technology stack. IITM Pravartak will skill them with proven skilling programs that bridge the gap between academia and industry. Diamondpick will help to provide employment opportunities for best-performing students with leading IT organizations. Diamondpick will also identify the skill gap of industry professionals and upskill them with the help of IITM Pravartak.
This collaboration combines IITM’s proven skilling capabilities and Diamondpick’s extensive expertise and client network, aimed to match freshers with job opportunities that perfectly match their skill sets to set them on the path to career growth and development.
